The existing Marsonia Stadium in Slavonski Brod is part of the Vijuš sports complex along the Sava River in Slavonski Brod. The agreed project task is based on the possibilities of the existing stadium, its staged construction and the economic framework, with each planned construction cycle assuming the finality of the image in each of the phases of implementation.
The western part of the bleachers and the kayak canoe club is a system of a continuous ground plan, i.e. a controlled line towards the road, embankment and river. The façade to the west is rhythmed by uniform openings and lined with the same materials.
A horseshoe-shaped bleacher closes the stadium towards the North, East and South sides and represents another element of the composition. It replaces the former standing auditorium, i.e. it is a dialogue with the river embankment.
The landscape and traffic in a limited framework is designed according to the logic of the possible. The existing road in the west along the embankment is fenced and becomes parking for trucks, buses and VIP vehicles, and the area around the stadium within the plot is paved (where functionally necessary) leaving the majority of the access square and the site with high and low greenery.
